This claim will be judged TRUE if, by Jan. 1, 2011, Bulgaria becomes a full member of EU. This membership will be recognized only when the necessary agreements are signed by the required parties by the indicated date. If, for some reason, EU does not exist on Jan. 1, 2011, the claim will be judged FALSE.
The claim will be judged by its intent. Therefore, it will be independent on changes of the official name of the EU (or of Bulgaria), or whether any of the current members of the EU are still in the Union or not. Should Bulgaria split or merge with other states, the claim will be valid if any of these entities is member of the Union. Full membership for the purpose of the claim means that the country may send active representative (not observers) to the executive and legislative organs of the Union (eg. the European Parliament or its successor).
