This is a scaled claim based on the number of state gubenatorial offices held by Republican party governors following the 2006 election. It pays (50 + (R-28)*5) where R = the number of Republican party governors as of March 1, 2007 (minimum payout 0, maximum 100).
Example: 29 Republican governors (net gain of 1) will pay out 55.
